Nova Mob vs. the Lords of Chaos

The Essential Emperor Banana Ketchup

I have always considered myself as a European trapped in the wrong body and in the wrong country.

Casual acquaintances often mistake me for a Chinese or Korean even if I can never stand watching a single episode of a Chinese/Korean TV drama…nevertheless, I’ve always wanted to take up Mandarin among other foreign languages.

Looking forward to travelling around the world, maybe settling in some European country to work for a game development company.

I do consider myself a voracious reader, inclined toward sci-fi and fantasy.  However, I dislike Tolkien and loathe his imitators like Terry Brooks. If I’d be writing my own fantasy book, you may as well expect not a single dragon to turn up.  On the other hand, I maintain an interest in Asian mythology and the occult – but thatt’s just to add fuel to the idea tank.

Rabid agnostic and technically liberal yet stridently apolitical.

Movie buff who always makes it a point to get his dose on the big screen as much as possible – nothing pisses me off more than freeloaders who are willing to settle for illegal DVD copies of movies copied off the cinema – whether here or abroad, boobing audience heads included.

Another thing which gets my goat -  same freeloaders who download music through Limewire that they can get from their friendly (legit) CD shop.  I also credit Limewire for breaking my dependence on the radio…haven’t  been tuning in for more than a year already.

PSP gamer who’s looking forward to more wonderful titles for that console….some of my current favourites include Jeanne D’Arc and Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness.

I love Tolkein and can tolerate his copy cats. I love him because his LOTR books were my introduction to Fantasy. I was only 12 when I discovered his dusty novels in my Dad’s bookcase. And even if i didn’t understand 30% of the words he used (I was only 12 okay) I “got” the story and fell in love with adult fantasy. Was already in love with fantasy children’s books…

sorryyy…. Im so off topic here, I just noticed that you said you didn’t like Tolkein so I just had to share my thoughts. LOLOLOL don’t mean to be antagonistic. :)

Thanks btw for checking in on my blog…
